High-performance zoom microscope
Versatile stereomicroscope solution for complex applications |
Description |
The SMZ-168 Series of stereomicroscopes incorporates a zoom ratio of 1:6.7, one of the industry's largest, with a standard working distance of 113mm inside a Greenough optical stereo system. Moreover, the standard system provides a maximum magnification of 50X [with standard 10X eyepieces] and guaranteed parfocality throughout the magnifications.
Designed for long term usage, the SMZ-168 is available in both a 35° and 60° observation angle format to fit the application and environment setup. Assisting in fatigue preventation is the high eyepoint system of the standard 10X eyepieces, which allows the user to assume a more comfortable posture when using the microscope and eyeglass wearers to observe without the fear of scratching their lenses. The standard eyepieces offer a field of view fo 30.7mm to cover more of sample in less time. |
Features |
- 6.7 : 1 Zoom Ratio
- 6.7X - 50X Standard Magnification
- 113mm Working Distance
- 35° ergonomic observation angle
- 6 Achromat auxiliary objectives
- Available in trinocular and 60° head versions
Remark |
Fabricated for versatility, the SMZ-168 is offer in a modular format to conform the requirements of the task and environment. Expansion is possible with a varity of accessories to handle the complex needs of today as well as tomorrow. The following is a brief reference list of possible industrial applications for the SMZ-168.
For inspection of bonding pads and large geometrics, the SMZ-168 Trinocular is the ideal choice. The trinocular version provides the option of video output for a convenient observation or digital for documentation and later analysis.
Pull Tester: The SMZ-168 60° with an industrial arm is the optical inspection unit to view the process of pull testing a random wire bonded substrate for failure analysis.
Medical Device Inspection: Using the SMZ-168 on a boom stand with an exterior light source [i.e. MLC-150 with ring light guide] provides the working surface and/or space saving needed for this inspections. Using the SMZ-168 trinocular with either a Moticam or a third party camera converts the inspection station into a documentation and analysis centre. |

5.2:1 Zoom Ratio CMO stereomicroscope |
Zoom convenience with CMO optical clarity
Description
Equipped standard with the user friendly function of zoom, the K700 offers the convenience of 5.2:1 zoom ratio with the optical clarity of the Common Main Objective [CMO] optical system. The combination of the K700"s optical zoom with its variety of accessories expands the system into different fields based upon the user"s selection. The system can be expanded up to a maximum magnification of 198X or a maximum field of view of 127.8mm, all dependent on your need.
The K700 is available in two mounting formats [pole mount with built in incident illumination and pole mount with no built in illumination] for adaptation to your system instead of your system adapting to the microscope. Outfitting the K700 with one of the optional boom stands offers the zoom convenience of continuously zoom in and out on large specimens in perfect parfocality and optical clarity to investigate a specific area within a general location.
Also available as dual discussion system, DSK-700, the K700 offers the option of discussion or training without multiple systems and the transporting of samples around the laboratory. |

Lightweight turret stereomicroscope
Three magnification options, unlimited usages |
Description |
The SFC-11 is the ideal stereomicroscope for both educational and industrial applications. Inclined at 45°, usage of the SFC-11 stereomicroscope is comfortable and fatigue free. Available in three turret magnification combinations [1X,2X; 1X,3X; and 2X,4X], thus providing a choice on magnification needed for the application. The standard working distance of 95mm is sufficient for majority of applications without the need for addition of auxiliary objectives.
With a variety of accessories available, the SFC-11 can adapt to most requirements without the need for factory or third-party modifications. The available stands for the SFC-11 range from compact and simple incident stands to boom stands to print ciruit board related stands as well as having numerous arm choices to complement the stands in way that satisfies all requirements. Furthermore, the different contrast options for the SFC-11 permits complex observations with a simple stereo system. |
Features |
- Compact, lightweight design
- 95mm Working Distance
- Up to 120X magnification
- Large variety of stands
Remark |
The SFC-11 has the ability to adapt to numerous applications. The following are few examples.
Mini Probe Station: Designed for small wafers, LED inspection, and universities, the mini probe station utilises the SFC-11's compact and rugged design for optical and video inspection of the sample. SFC-11/12 plus the FS01 arm or FI01 industrial arm will fix most of the stations on the market.
Hobby Gemmological Microscope: Mineralogy and gemmology are hobbies share by large amounts of people worldwide. Instead of investing vast sums of money on a professional gemmological microscope, the SFC-11 on the N2GG stand with a dark field attachment and gem holder is sufficient for most observations in these two fields. Optionally, the simple polarising attachment can included for observation of crystalline structures.
Print Circuit Board [PCB] Assembly and Inspection: With optimal working distance of 95mm, the SFC-11 on the manual movement stand with either the 2401K fluorescent ring light or the the MLC-150 Fiber optic illuminator can satisfy most PCB assembly and inspection requirements. The manual movement stand provides enough surface space and movement to inspect most PCBs. |
